Attorney Joseph Bartlett of Lafayette, IN; convicted drunk

The state of Indiana provided Joseph Delmar Bartlett with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Indiana Law School.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Joey pled guilty to two (2) counts of operating a vehicle and causing serious bodily injury with a blood count of .08 or more, both punishable as class D felonies.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 90-day suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Joey.

As we speak (ca. October 2018) Joey practices with the Bartlett Law Office in Lafayette, Indiana.
