Judge Hassan El-Amin of Upper Marlboro, MD; perverted loser

The state of Maryland presented Hassam El-Amin with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from the University of Maryland Law School.

The Maryland Judicial Commission found Judge El-Amin guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Judge El-Amin’s former administrative assistant filed a sexual harassment complaint against him.

El-Amin’s victim, Denise Lowe-Williams, accused him of subjecting her to a sexually charged work environment. She said in her complaint that he would repeatedly call her while he was vacationing to tell her that he missed her.

Ms. Williams went on to claim that El-Amin would show her graphic photos that was presented as evidence in cases he presided over. He would also comment on she looked wearing certain clothing. She went on to state:

  • “It always ended up with some theme or something with sex.” Williams said in an interview.
  • “I would get tired of it.”
  • “It was emotionally draining.”

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme Court punished Judge El-Amin by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Given the non-punishment handed out to El-Amin, it certainly appears that the comedians sitting on the Maryland Supreme Court are of the opinion that sexual harassment of court employees by judges is considered to be a “judicial perk.”

As we speak (ca. March 2017), El-Amin continues to sit as a Prince George’s County Circuit Court Judge in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
