Attorney Billy Ponds of DC; ethical gremlin

The state of District of Columbia provided Billy L. Ponds with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from Howard University Law School.

The D.C. Court of Appeals found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to withdraw when necessary
• Improperly disclosed confidential client information

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the D.C. Court of Appeals punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
