Attorney Paul Walwyn of Madison, TN; idiot, serial offender

 

The state of Tennessee provided Paul Julius Walwyn with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Paulie’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to prepare court order as directed for eight months
  • Failed to properly prepare to represent client in child support/custody matter
  • Failed to comply with court order
  • Failed to file notice of appeal in timely manner
  • Failed to file petition with Supreme Court resulting in client’s loss of review

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.    

 

Paulie’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Paulie!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.    

 

Paulie’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to respond to several Court of Appeal orders
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Ordered by Court of Appeal to appear for show cause contempt hearing
  • Found to be in willful and intentional contempt of court
  • Sentenced to 48-hours in Davidson County jail for contempt
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Acted unfairly towards opposing counsel and party
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Failed to file appeal on client’s behalf before deadline expired
  • Failed to file trial transcript with Court of Appeals
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or do so through the acts of another

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license. 

 

As we speak (March 2017), Paulie practices at 1994 Gallatin Park North in Madison, Tennessee.
