Attorney Lisa Wayne of Denver; ethical dwarf

The state of Colorado provided Lisa M. Wayne with a law license in 1986 after she graduated from Pepperdine University Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Lisa guilty of the following misconduct.

• Negligently misappropriated (stole) client retainer
  Used misappropriated retainer to pay refunds to two clients
  Failed to maintain client ledgers

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Lisa by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 24-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Lisa.
