Attorney Kevin Green of Mankato, MN; tax scofflaw, serial offender

 

The state of Minnesota provided Kevin O’Connor Green with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Western State University Law School.

 

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Kevin guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Kevin’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

In one matter, Kevin caused a mistrial by contacting jurors before a trial commenced.

 

As consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

  • Violated rules pertaining to fee agreements
  • Failed to maintain proper trust account books/records

In one matter, Kevin failed to put a contingency fee agreement with a client into writing.

  • Failed to file personal state income tax returns in timely matter for 11 years
  • Owed more than $67,000 in back taxes

As consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. March 2017), Kevin practices in Mankato, Minnesota.
