Trump’s 13^th post-election lie: Obama tapped Trump Tower phones

In an ongoing attempt to retain his position as America’s Premier Serial Liar and Bullshitter, Donald “Trumporleone” Trump recently (early March 2017) decided to spew forth a few lies about President Obama.

In this instance, The Don accused Obama of “wiretapping” Trump Tower prior to the 2016 presidential election. (Lee Moran, Huffington Post) As is The Don’s wont, he sent out the following tweets on Feb 4, 2017.

3:35 a.m.

• “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory.”
• “Nothing found. This is McCarthyism.”

3:35 a.m.

• “Just “out: The same Russian Ambassador that met Jeff Sessions visited the Obama White House 22 times, and 4 times last year alone.”

3:42 a.m.

• “Is it legal for a sitting President to be wiretapping a race for president prior to an election?
• “Turned down by court earlier.”
• “A NEW LOW!”

3:49 a.m.

• “I'd bet a good lawyer could make a great case out of the fact that President Obama was tapping my phones in October, just prior to Election!”

3:52 a.m.

• “How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process.?”
• “This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!”

It should be obvious to anyone other than those with an I.Q. in the mid-80s that The Don fabricated these falsehoods in an effort to deflect the beating he’s taking in regards to the numerous contacts he and/or his lackeys had with Russian officials prior to and/or subsequent to the presidential election.

As is the case with every lie that The Don tells, he fails to provide any actual evidence to back up his fabrications. And the sole reason he doesn’t do so is because there is no evidence.

And lastly, how many lies will The Don have to tell before his avid followers (dupes) decide they’ve had enough?
