Attorney Mike Stepovich of Fairbanks; serial offender

The state of Alaska presented Mike Stepovich with a law license in 1993.

The Council of the Law Society of Scotland found Janie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Drafted friend’s will that named him as contingent beneficiary
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Friend’s mother contested will
  • Probate judge removed Mike as personal representative of friend’s estate

As one would suspect this isn’t Mike’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license and two complimentary censures for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alaska Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license that took effect in December 2016.

As we speak (ca. February 2017), Mike will have his law license reinstated in December 2017, and will be practicing at 543 2nd Avenue in Fairbanks, Alaska.
