Judge W. Wayne Woodard of Punta Gorda, FL; liar, Gaddafi Wannabee, Dumbo

Judge W. Wayne Woodard was presented with a law license by the Florida Supreme Court in 1973. In 1990 then-Gov. Bob Martinez made a monumental error in judgment when he appointed Woodard to a judgeship.

In the recent past, the Judicial Qualifications Commission (JQC) found Judge Woodard guilty of the following misconduct:
  1. Lied regarding his judicial experience to the voters
  2. Attempted to extort concessions from his opponent in judicial election
  3. Repeatedly rude to counsel, witnesses and parties appearing in his so-called court
While running for reelection, Woody was being opposed by Ms. Carolyn Garber. In an effort to persuade her to forgo trying to unseat him, Gaddafi telephoned her residence and spoke to her husband. During this conversation, Muammar suggested to Mr. Garber that:
  1. Ms. Garber might wish to reconsider her candidacy
  2. I’ve amassed a lot of money for my campaign
  3. I’ve lined up locations for my campaign signs
  4. The campaign is for my retirement and my grandchildren
  5. Losing the election would affect my retirement, and thus my grandchildren
Muammar was obviously rightfully concerned that no self-respecting law firm in the Naples, Fort Meyers and/or Sarasota areas was about to offer him any well-paying job. Can y’all blame them?

Therefore, Muammar’s prospects for a job were likely limited to applying for a job as a greeter at the Sam’s Club at 2550 Immokalee Road in Naples. And if that didn’t pan out, he could opt to take a course at the Fort Myers Bartending School at 2502 2nd Street in Fort Myers.

For his misconduct the wimps, enablers and apologists sitting on the JQC and the Florida Supreme Court punished Muammar by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2011) this certified loser and Dumbo remains on the bench in Charlotte County (Punta Gorda Florida.
