Attorney Oscar Desper III of Seattle; repeat offender

 

The state of Washington presented Oscar Edward Desper III with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Arizona State University Law School.

 

The Washington State Bar found Oscar guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Oscar’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to deposit client funds into interest-bearing account
  • Revealed client confidences or secrets relating to representation
  • Failed to obtain client consent to reveal confidences/secrets

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Oscar by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Oscar’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in heated dispute with DA over terms of client plea agreement
  • Made a fist and assaulted the DA by delivering a forceful blow to his chest
  • Engaged in a criminal act adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Oscar by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. February 2017), Oscar practices at 601 Union Street in Seattle, Washington.
