Attorney Roy Lewellen of Marianna, AR; ignoramus, serial offender

The state of Arkansas presented Roy C. Lewellen with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Little Rock Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Roy guilty of the following misconduct.

Prior to the following misconduct, Billy received one (1) complimentary caution and two () complimentary reprimands and two (2) suspensions for engaging in a variety of misconduct. 

Billy’s 5^th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to provide competent representation (ignoramus)
• Failed to return unearned fees after termination
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to provide client with copy of written contingent fee agreement
• Failed to take necessary steps to protect client interests after termination
• Failed to return client file after termination
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

Billy’s 6^th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Knowingly made false statement of material fact to a tribunal
• Improper bankruptcy filing done for sole purpose of harassing the Wildlife parties and causing the Wildlife parties to incur enormous and unnecessary
• expenses
• Knowingly disobeyed bankruptcy court order
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Violated both the frivolous and improper purposes of bankruptcy rules
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (June 2017), Billy practices at 17 North Poplar in Marianna, Arkansas.
