Attorney Thomas Young of Marion, AR; moron, slacker

The state of Texas presented Thomas A. Young with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Little Rock Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to abide by client decisions re: representation
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to promptly inform client of any decision or circumstance with respect to which the client's informed consent is required
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to promptly respond to client information requests
• Failed to take steps to expedite client litigation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary caution.
