The state of Arkansas presented John Skylar Tapp with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

 

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Prior to the following misconduct, Johnny received four (4) complimentary cautions and four (4) complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct. 

 

Johnny’s 9th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to file proper documents in client appeal
  • Negligence led to client’s appeal being dismissed

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

 

Johnny’s 10th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest involving two or more clients
  • Violated cease and desist court order
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Johnny’s 11th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to timely file client appeal
  • Negligence led to client’s appeal being dismissed

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

 

Johnny’s 12th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Disclosed confidential client information
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest involving two or more clients
  • Violated or attempted to violate the rules of professional conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or dis so through the acts of another
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary caution.
