Judge Ronald Duebbert of Osceola, MO; ethical goblin

The state of Pennsylvania presented Ronald Duebbert with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of Illinois Law School.

The Philadelphia City Ethics Board found Seth guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

In mid-January 2017, St. Clair County State’s Attorney Brendan Kelly alleged in a letter to the state Judicial Inquiry Board in Chicago that, Judge Duebbert made false and unauthorized statements about a murder suspect who once lived in the judge’s home during an investigation of the murder on Dec. 30 of Carl Silas, 28, in an apartment just east of Belleville. (Tim O’Neil, St. Louis Post-Dispatch)

Kelly’s office disclosed his letter through a Freedom of Information request. It alleges that Judge Duebbert revealed unauthorized information to reporters before Fields was arrested. The letter does not recommend action by the judicial board

The area Major Case Squad investigated Silas’ murder at the request of St. Clair County Sheriff Rick Watson. The squad has recommended that Judge Duebbert be charged with obstruction of justice.

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Judge Duebbert by the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the state Judicial Inquiry Board.

As we speak (ca. January 2017), Ronnie continues to sit as a St. Clair County Circuit Court Judge in Osceola, Missouri.
