The state of Pennsylvania presented Paul J. McArdle with a law license in 1981.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Pursued several pro se frivolous actions
• Used means that have no substantial purpose other than to embarrass, delay, or burden a third person, or use methods of obtaining evidence that violate the legal rights of such a person
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him, with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license effective September 2, 2016.

As we speak (ca. January 2017), Paulie will again practice at 601 Avery Street in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania beginning in September 2, 2017.
