Attorney Lek Domni of Philadelphia, PA; ethical gremlin

The state of Pennsylvania presented Lek Domni with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Temple University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Lek guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Abandoned his clients and his law practice
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Johnny!)
  • Failed to withdraw promptly from nine client matters
  • Failed to advise the court, opposing counsel and his clients he was ineligible to practice law
  • Failed to communicate with an attorney who had referred several cases to him
  • Engage in the illegal practice law when his law license was suspended.
  • Failed to appear at court conferences
  • Failed to respond to various filings, resulting in dismissal of client matters

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Lek by gifting him, with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license effective June 2016.

As we speak (ca. January 2017), Lek will again practice at1500 JFK Blvd in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania beginning in June 2017.
