Attorney Ronald Nevin of Maryville, TN; lying Dumbo

The state of Tennessee provided Ronald Kent Nevin with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Ronnie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo) 
• Failed to represent a client zealously
• Failed to preserve identity and funds of a client
• Improperly transferred money from his trust account to a conservatorship account
• Failed to preserve the identity of the ward’s money
• Improperly retained interest owed to the ward’s account
• Commingled trust fund accounts
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to file accurate inventory of ward’s assets
• Misrepresented (lied) about value of client’s estate to probate court
• Failed to safeguard a minor’s assets resulting in a tax sale of the minor’s property

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Ronnie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. January 2017) Ronnie practices at 404 James Robertson Parkway in Nashville, Tennessee.
