Attorney Carleton Bryant IV of Knoxville, TN; ethical goblin

The state of Tennessee provided Carleton Elliott Bryant IV with a law license in 984 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Carl guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in improper trial conduct
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Negligently allowing an employee to file a pleading with no merit
  • Negligently signed document containing factual misrepresentations
  • Communicating with one of adverse interest
  • Failed to representing client within the bounds of the law

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Carl by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Carl.

As we speak (ca. January 2017) Carl practices at 400 Main Avenue in Knoxville, Tennessee.
