Attorney Christopher Donovan of Memphis, TN; idiot, slacker

The state of Tennessee provided Christopher Filer Donovan with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Indiana Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot) 
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to safeguard client property and/or funds
• Failed to decline representation when required to so act
• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license

As we speak (ca. January 2017) Chris practices at 9 North Second Street in Memphis, Tennessee.
