The state of Tennessee provided John Thomas Sholly with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

Johnny’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Found in contempt of court
• Failed to file appellate brief on client’s behalf
• Failed to comply with court order (Up yours, said Johnny!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Johnny’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Neglected number of client cases
• Failed to comply with basic accounting requirements for attorney trust accounts
• Charged and/or collected excessive fee (cheater)
• Failed to refund $1,500 in unearned fees

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. January 2017) Johnny practices at 501 Main Street in Knoxville, Tennessee.
