Attorney Wendell O’Reilly of Brentwood, TN; slacker, repeater

The state of Tennessee provided Wendell J. O’Reilly with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from the University of New Brunswick Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility Wendell guilty of the following misconduct.

Wendell’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Wendell by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Wendell’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Repeatedly paid personal expenses from client trust account

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Wendell by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
