Attorney John Smallmon of Hermiston, OR; scofflaw, repeat offender

The state of Oregon provided John W. Smallmon with a law license in 1962 after he graduated from Williamette University Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Prepared deed for client in violation of the law
• Failed to withdraw representation when required to so act
• Assisted client in conduct he knew to be illegal
• Conduct resulted in actual injury to third party

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Johnny’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2016) Johnny practices in Hermiston, Oregon.
