Solicitor Michael Allan of Scotland; ethical dwarf

The Law Society presented Michael Sandison Allan with a law license in 1979.

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
  • Misconduct caused his company to be subjected to seven-year period of disqualification
  • Conduct brought legal profession into disrepute (What’s new?)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. December 2016), Mike practices at 25 Castle Street in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Scotland.
