Attorney Karl Shehu of Boston; ethical gremlin

The state of Massachusetts presented Karl David Shehu with a law license in 2012.

The Statewide Greivance Committee found Karl guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Karl attempted to extract a $70,000 settlement in exchange for not filing an ethics complaint against a California attorney. The dispute involved Karl and attorney William Adams of the San Diego firm of Norton, Moore & Adams.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Greivance Committee punished Karl by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2016), Karl practices with DLA Piper LLP at 33 Arch Street in Boston, Massachusetts.
