Attorney Jon Rogers of Hendersonville, TN; idiot, repeat offender

The state of Tennessee presented Jon David Rogers with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from the University of Denver Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Jon guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Filed to communicate with client
• Charged an excessive fee (cheater)
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Improper withdrawal of client representation
• Failed to treat opposing party/counsel fairly

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Jon by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jon.
