Attorney Ted Breckenfelder of Davenport, IA; slacker, liar

The state of Illinois presented Ted Ernst Breckenfelder with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Drake University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Teddy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Teddy!)
• Failed to comply with local court rules
• Lied to client that response to summary judgment had been filed
• Negligence led to court entering judgment against client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Teddy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (November 2016), Teddy practices with the Breckenfelder Law Firm in Davenport, Iowa.
