Attorney Averill Baker of Newfoundland, CAN; ethical misfit

The Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador presented Averill Baker with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Dalhousie University Law School.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Disciplinary Committee found Averill guilty of the following misconduct.

• Was discourteous and disrespectful to court representative

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Averill by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. October 2016), Averill practices with the Baker Law Office at 119 New Cove Road in St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada.
