Solicitor Anthony Murphy of Lanarkshire, Scotland, lying loser

The Law Society presented Anthony David Murphy with a law license in 1989.

The Scottish Solicitors’ Discipline Tribunal found Tony guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Anthony!)
• Delayed in recording a standard security
• Failed to pay additional fees incurred by other solicitors
• Knowingly misled (lied) to client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Discipline Tribunal punished Tony by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
