Attorney Christopher Bawn of Olympia, WA; slacker

The state of Washington presented Christopher William Bawn with a law license in 1983.

The Washington State Bar found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to maintain required trust account records
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to act fairly toward opposing party and counsel
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Failed to safeguard client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license effective May 2, 2016.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Chris will begin practicing again in February 2017 at 7616 SE 22nd Street in Olympia, Washington.
