Attorney Dennis Plunk of Savannah, TN; convicted scammer

The state of Tennessee presented Dennis W. Plunk with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Memphis Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Denny guilty of the following misconduct.

Over the course of about one year, Denny closed a number of real estate matters under the jurisdiction of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, contrary to the then existing regulations.  Specifically, Denny submitted settlement statements which contained false statements concerning sale price, cash received from borrower, cash paid to seller and secondary financing.

Subsequently, Denny entered a plea of guilty to the indictment against him for said violations and was fined #$1,000 and placed on one year’s probation.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Denny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Denny practices at 40 West Main Street in Savannah, Tennessee.
