Attorney Ernest Linam of Knoxville, TN; ethical gremlin

The state of Tennessee presented Ernest William Linam with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Ernie guilty of the following misconduct.

In addition to being a loser lawyer, Ernie is also a CPA. Ernie established a business wherein he brought in two other individuals. One of the individuals alleged various improprieties and self-dealing.  It was ruled that Ernie operated the company for his own

personal benefit and he may have been negligent in the management of the corporation's financial affairs by failing to see that funds withdrawn by the corporation from employee's paychecks were timely transferred to the IRS.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Ernie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Ernie practices at 1310 Park Glen Road in Knoxville, Tennessee.
