Judge Patricia Lynch of Essex, England; potty mouth loser

The Judicial Conduct Investigations Office (JCIO) is investigating Patty for engaging in the following misconduct.

While presiding over a sentencing matter involving John Hennigan, Patty found it acceptable involve herself in a shouting match resulting in the exchange of profanities with the defendant. Midway through the sentencing hearing, the Hennigan interrupted the proceedings and called Patty “a bit of a cunt.”

This led to the following back and forth between Patty and Johnny:

PATTY:

“You are a bit of a cunt yourself.”

“Being offensive to me doesn’t help.”

JOHNNY:

“Go fuck yourself.”

PATTY:

“You too.”

Obviously, it is absurd for any judge to cheerfully jump into the gutter with a disgruntled defendant. However, this is exactly what Patty did when she called Johnny “a cunt.”

As we speak (ca. August 2016), Patty continues to sit as a Chelmsford Town Court judge in Chelmsford, Essex, United Kingdom.
