Attorney Sonya Morris of Schererville, IN; ethical gremlin

The state of Indiana provided Sonya Alaine Morris with a law license in 1989.

The Indiana Disciplinary Commission found Sonya guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of client funds
• Failed to promptly deliver to client funds client lawfully entitled too
• Failed to withdraw after being terminated
• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client interests upon being fired
• Failed to surrender client property and papers to client upon termination
• Waited a year or more to forwards funds client was entitled to receive

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Divina by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2016), Sonya practices at 222 Indianapolis Blvd in Schererville, Indiana.
