Attorney Ricky Bonewell of St. George, UT; imbecile

The State of Utah presented Ricky D. Bonewell with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Gonzaga University Law School.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme found Ricky guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (imbecile)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to decline/terminate representation when required to do so
• Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to respond to client’s request re: increasing child support for 3 months
• Failed to advise client of date statute of limitations would toll on her claim

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Ricky by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Ricky practices with Bonewell, Morris & Associates LLC at 95 South Mall Drive in St. George, Utah.
