Attorney Rebecca Pilshaw of Wichita, KS; ethical gremlin

The state of Kansas presented Rebecca L. Pilshaw with a law license in 1984 after she graduated from the University of Kansas Law School.

Rebecca’s misconduct took place while she was sitting as a Sedgewick County District Court judge, which resulted in the Kansas Commission on Judicial Qualifications finding her guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to avoid impropriety
• Failed to respect and comply with the law (Up yours, said Rebecca!)
• Failed to act in a patient, dignified and courteous manner
• Engaged in emotional outbursts in presence of prospective jurors

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Rebecca by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2016) Rebecca practices at 1999 North Amidon Avenue in Wichita, Kansas.
