Judge Kent Turnbull of North Platte, NE; moron, lifetime porker

The state of Nebraska presented Kent Turnbull with a law license in 1992 after she graduated from the University of Nebraska Law School.

It should be noted that Kent has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past thirty years (1986 to 2016). Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater North Platte area was about to offer him a good paying job.

The Nebraska Commission on Judicial qualifications found Judge Turnbull guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Judge Turnbull presided over the juvenile court case of Elizabeth S. which at time he knew was pending before the Supreme Court on a Petition for Further Review; therefore, he had no jurisdiction to hear the matter.

In addition, Judge Turnbull improperly made contact with Nancy Thompson, a child welfare worker by telephone despite the fact she had not previously been involved in the case

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Nebraska Supreme Court punished Judge Turnbull by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2016), Judge Turnbull continues to sit as a 11^th Judicial District County Court Judge in North Platte, Nebraska.
