Attorney Charles Campo of Cambridge, MA; ethical dwarf

The state of Massachusetts presented Charles M. Campo with a law license in 1977 after she graduated from Tulane University Law School.

Charlie’s misconduct took place while he was employed as a Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney.

In one matter, Charlie was assigned to prosecute Ulysses Charles for the rape and robbery of three women in Boston. Charlie’s personal notes that were discovered over a decade later proved that one victim’s description of her attacker did not match Mr. Charles. Subsequently, those notes caused Superior Court Justice Barbara Rouse to overturn Charles’ conviction and order his release from prison.

After serving nearly twenty-years of an 80-year sentence, Mr. Charles was later awarded $3.75 in settlements for his wrongful conviction against the city and the Commonwealth.

As is the case with almost every prosecutor who engages in egregious misconduct aimed at obtaining wrongful convictions, Charlie was never charged with ethical violations by the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers.

As we speak (ca. May 2016), Charlie practices with Clark, Hunt, Ahern & Embry at 150 Cambridgepark Drive in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
