Former Justice O. Gbaja-Bimila of Nigeria; slacker

The National Judicial Council (NJC) found Justice Gbaja-Bimila guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Took 35 months to render judgement after close of evidence in case
• Violated law mandating judgments be rendered within 90 days
• Failed to comply with and obey the law
• Failed to comply with Court of Appeal rulings
• Engaged in illegal ex parte (one-sided) communications

As a consequence of his misconduct, the NJC ordered that Justice Gbaja-Bimila be removed from his judicial office.

As we speak (ca. May 2016) it is rumored that Gbaja-Bimila is employed as a greeter at the “Cave Nude Club” in Lagos, Nigeria.
