Attorney Janet Irons of Bellevue, WA; repeat offender

The state of Washington presented Janet A. Irons with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from the University of Washington Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Janet guilty of the following misconduct.

Janet’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Advanced financial assistance to client
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Janet!)
  • Failed to timely respond to discovery requests
  • Client lawsuit dismissed for failure to comply with court order
  • Sanctioned $750 by court for noncompliance with orders
  • Lied to client that lawsuit was still pending
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Janet by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

Janet’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Acted unfairly to opposing party and counsel

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Janet by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. May 2016), Janet practices at 1400 112th Avenue SE in Bellevue, Washington.
