U.S. Judge Tom Stagg of Louisiana; arrogant Whatchmakallit, ethical elf

Federal law requires all federal judges to file annual financial statements disclosing the names of all persons and/or entities that paid for junkets to exotic venues.

When the Washington Post reported that Judge Stagg had violated federal law by failing to disclose the names of his benefactors (those that paid for his luxurious vacations), he responded by saying, “The food was wonderful, the teachers were wonderful. If somebody doesn’t like it, I’m sorry.”

The only truth portion of Judge Stagg’s comment to the Washington Post as set forth above is that he is in fact one “sorry Whatchmakallit.”

Sadly, Stagg was appointed as a District Court Judge for the Western District of Louisiana by President Nixon in 1974. As we speak this arrogant ingrate is 88 years old!

In 1992 Judge Stagg decided to assume Senior Status, meaning that for the past nineteen (19) years he has only been required to work 10 hours a week. What a Gig!!

It really is disheartening to know that attorneys of Stagg’s ilk (FYI: Judge Stagg, ILK is not defined as a Male ELK) was ever appointed to the federal bench.

Of course the sole reason he was appointed to the fedeal bench was due to his proven success at acting as a bootlicker for the local Republican Party in Louisiana for many, many years.
