Former Judge Joel Baker of Tyler, TX; pervert

The state of Texas presented Manuel Lawrence Real with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The State Commission on Judicial Conduct initiated an investigation of Joel in regards to the following misconduct, all of which involves accusations from a woman who remains anonymous and private investigator, Tim McLemee who specializes in digital evidence. (Julia Jenaé)

McLemee turned over a 1,000 explicit social media messages between the woman and Judge Baker’s personal social media page. The woman said Joel sent her a friend request on Facebook in 2015. The woman said:

• “Baker has always been sexual with me, and he’s made comments and [at first] I never reacted to them."
• "Then in October when me and my boyfriend broke up is when it got really explicit.”

After she posted the breakup message, Baker sent the following message:

• “Hey how are you? I would love to come drink a glass of wine with you.”

In addition to the aforementioned message, the woman said that she received nude photos of Judge Baker exposing his genitals.

Rather than await a ruling from the Judicial Commission which likely have led to him being removed from the bench, Baker took the coward’s way out and resigned.

An unreliable source indicated that Baker is now employed part time as a clerk at Openminds Adult Video & Novelty at 2125 Anthony Drive in Tyler, Texas.

As we speak (ca. May 2016), Baker practices his brand of law at 200 East Ferguson Street in Tyler, Texas.
