The state of Mississippi presented J. David Shoemake with a law license in 1973

The Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance found Judge Shoemake guilty of the following misconduct.

• Repeatedly failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to exercise oversight to protect assets of a minor ward
• Made false/misleading statements under oath [perjury]

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Shoemake by the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Mississippi Supreme Court.

Because Judicial Misfits in Mississippi are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Shoemake has not been criminally charged with perjury.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Shoemake continues to sit as a Chancery Court judge in Collins, Mississippi.
