Attorney Scott Berger of Jamaica, NY; ambulance chasing loser

The state of New York presented Scott Michael Berger with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Scotty engaged in a pattern and practice of filing inaccurate, incomplete, and/or misleading retainer statements with the Office of Court Administration (OCA).

In another matter, Scotty engaged in a pattern and practice of paying third persons for the purpose of soliciting retainers authorizing him to perform legal services.

Over a period of two years, Scotty made payments $42,000 for the purpose of soliciting retainers authorizing him to perform legal services.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Disciplinary Commission punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Scotty practices with The Berger Law Firm PC at 16743 148th Avenue in Jamaica, New York.
