Attorney Arnold Kalman of Philadelphia; ethical goblin

The state of Pennsylvania presented Arnold Ira Kalman with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Seton Hall University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Arnie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest
  • Failed to correct client’s false pleadings
  • Sanctioned by two courts re: false pleadings
  • Improperly accepted compensation from one other than the client
  • Represented New Jersey and Pennsylvania clients in related litigation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Arnie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2016), Arnie practices at 245 South Hutchinson Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
