U.S. Judge Yvonne Rogers of Oakland, CA; apologist for racist judge

The state of Arkansas presented Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

President Obama was duped into appointing Yvonne as U.S. District Court Judge for the Northern District of California in Oakland. Yvonne didn’t receive the appointment because she was the most qualifed attorney in the Bay area. She received it because she had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

In one matter, Yvonne was assigned to hear the case the California Civil Rights Law Group that represented two Montana journalists who sued to obtain copies of former Montana U.S. District Court judge Richard Cebull.

Cebull is a highly disrespected bigot, racist and homophobe who was forced to resign in 2013 after his disgusting emails were provided to ethics investigators. After his resignation, attorney Lawrence Organ of the California Civil Rights Law Group, lawyer for two Montana journalists sued to obtain copies of Cebull’s email.

Subsequently, Yvonne rejected claims that the press and the public have a First Amendment right of access to a federal judge’s emails. The Buffoon (my apologies to Buffoons) also ruled that the judicial conduct committee that investigated Cebull and the court official who denied the journalists requests for copies of the emails were protected by immunity.

Yvonne’s reasoning for her ruling is laughable at best. To suggest that the taxpayers are not entitled to see emails that Cebull developed while he was on the taxpayer dime is absurd.

This is yet another reason that most people hold the judiciary in contempt when it comes to their self-serving rules of secrecy. Moreover, the so-called immunity that Yvonne claimed that court officials are entitled too, are absurd because they were put into effect by judicial fiat. Put simply, we have judges providing each other with judicial immunity and the right to operate secretly while at the same time the taxpayers are funding said frivolity.

As we speak, (ca. March 2016), Yvonne remains sitting on the federal bench in Oakland, California.

And lastly, given the fact she’s 51-years-old, the good folks in the greater Oakland area can look forward to this Arrogant Boob spewing forth more asinine rulings for another 25 to 30 years.
