Attorney Shawn Womack of Mountain Home, AR; slacker

The state of Arkansas presented Shawn Allen Womack with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct found Shawn guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with court order
• Failed to prepare order after hearing for court’s consideration
• Submitted court-ordered hearing 18 months after ordered by court to so act
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to advise client of status of legal matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Judicial Commission punished Shawn by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

As we speak (ca. July 2007), Shawn practices his so-called brand of law in Mountain View, Arkansas, which is located in Baxter County.
