Barrister Briton Salter of Auckland, NZ; ethical dwarf

The Law Society of New Zealand presented Briton Trevor Salter with a law license in 1975.

The New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal found Briton guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to deposit client funds into proper trust a account
  • Filed to comply with prior order re: handling of trust account funds
  • Used improper account regarding 250 transactions
  • Failed to take advice from senior attorney as ordered to do

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Briton by gifting him with a complimentary censure and a $5,000 find.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Briton practices with Salta Property Law on Wellesley Street in Auckland, New Zealand.
