Barrister Gang Chen of Auckland, NZ; repeat offender

The Law Society of New Zealand presented Gang Chen with a law license in 2004.

The New Zealand Lawyers and Conveyancers Disciplinary Tribunal found Gang guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in reckless breach of trust account rules
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to properly supervise office staff

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Gang’s first bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously disciplined for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Tribunal punished Gang by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Gang practices with MBC Law Limited in Parnell, Auckland, New Zealand.
