Attorney Patrick Burns of Minneapolis; idiotic crook

The state of presented Patrick Christopher Burns with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School.

The Minnesota Office of Lawyer Regulation found Patty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Failed to timely remit funds belonging to client
• Failed to maintain complete/accurate billing records
• Charged two clients’ credit cards without the clients’ authorization and did so after the representation had terminated (crook)
• Charged on client duplicate fees
• Obtained evidence in violation of the rights of another
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to respond to client communications
• Failed to respect the rights of others
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Patty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Patty practices with Patrick Burns & Associates at 8401 Wayzata Blvd in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
