Attorney Billy Wong of Toronto, CAN; thieving loser

The Law Society presented Billy Shuey Wong with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from York University Law School.

A Disciplinary Hearing Panel found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Misappropriated (stole) trust monies on three occasions
  • Charged unreasonable fees (cheater)
  • Failed to provide copy of accounting to client
  • Failed to deposit $94,000 into client trust account
  • Commissioned a document not signed in his presence
  • Misled Law Society by advising he wasn’t involved in purchase transaction
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Billy!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of the Law Society of Upper Canada punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Canada are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Billy was never criminally charged with grand theft or fraud.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Billy practices at 218-220 Duncan Mill Road in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
